Selection procedure

The application and admission process are coordinated by Grenoble INP. All applicants fill in the online application form and submit required documents. The eligible applications are processed to the academic evaluation and ranking of the applications. Students’ selection is done in collaboration with all partner universities.

Applicants will be evaluated on the basis of their prior study performance and professional promise, as evidenced by their academic records, letters of recommendation and other relevant documents. The innovative potential and entrepreneurial excellence will also be evaluated.

Candidates that have passed the first stage of the selection process are interviewed using a common questionnaire prepared by the consortium. All interviews are conducted via Skype or other video conference service. The number of study places available is limited and the application process is highly competitive.

Applicants are first admitted to their 1st year university (Aalto, Grenoble INP or TU Darmstadt) and during the 1st year of studies, they apply to the 2nd year university (exit university).

The possible appeals towards the student selection decisions (not against the scholarship decisions) are processed according to the local appeal procedure of the coordinating university, Grenoble INP.
